Former Ambassador Daniel Taub Reflects on His Service in London

Born in Great Britain in 1962, Daniel Taub was the Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom between 2011 and 2015. The alumnus of Harvard University immigrated to Israel in 1989. He served in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) as a combat medical officer before joining the Israeli Foreign Ministry in 1991. He is now the director of strategy and planning at the Yad Hanadiv foundation.

In 2015, when Daniel Taub was leaving the ambassadorial post, he did reflect his four years as an ambassador.

On renouncing his British citizenship, Daniel Taub recalls his response. He informed her majesty the Queen that he felt privileged raising his children in their country of birth.
